Mission

Saint Melangell’s Animal Refuge is a faith-rooted nonprofit dedicated to the compassionate care, rescue, and rehabilitation of animals in need. Inspired by the Orthodox Christian tradition and the legacy of Saint Melangell, our mission is to provide sanctuary, promote humane treatment, and foster loving adoptions, while educating the community on the spiritual and ethical responsibility of stewardship over God’s creatures.

Goals

• Secure permanent land to host rescued animals and small retreats for volunteers.
• Provide medical care and lifelong sanctuary when rehoming is not possible.
• Educate the community on humane stewardship and animal welfare.
